FiCS 2022 – Abidjan, Ivory Cost

The third edition of the Finance in Common (FICS) Summit, co-hosted by the African Development Bank and the European Investment Bank, will take place for the first time in the African continent, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on the 18-20 October 2022.

For the first time, the Summit will bring together more than 600 participants in-person. Expected participants range from Heads of State, Ministers, Public Development Banks’ representatives, international organizations, and civil society organizations, amongst others. This multi stakeholder engagement will foster vast networking opportunities, nurture dialogue and potentially create new partnerships and action plans.

The FICS teams are finalizing the high-level programme with the theme of “Green and Just transition for a sustainable recovery”. Various side events in parallel to the Summit are being organized in order to deep-dive into significant thematic discussions.
